Since 1926, the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce has served as an advocate for the creation, growth, and general welfare of Black-owned businesses and organizations in the North Texas region. All historical records indicate that the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce is the first Black chamber of commerce in the nation’s history. In the DBCC’s 94-years of service, we have consistently promoted the expansion of business opportunities for our members and communities across the North Texas region through referrals, partnerships, seminars, technical assistance, special projects, marketing, and advocacy.

We know that our members are the most valuable component of our success. By elevating the voices of our members to advocate for the type of ecosystem we know will help Black businesses and organizations grow, we will successfully serve our mission.
